Terms of Service

Costum is currently provided as an early access (beta) service, free of charge. During this period, the platform is actively being developed. Features may change, be added, or be removed. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability during the beta phase.

By using Costum during beta, you acknowledge that the service is provided "as is" and you agree to provide feedback that may help us improve the product.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@costum.cloud if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One person may not register multiple accounts without prior authorization.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service to store or process data in a way that infringes the rights of third parties.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission.

You retain full ownership of the data and content you create within Costum (projects, characters, breakdowns, notes, etc.). By using the Service, you grant Costum a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

We do not use your content for any purpose beyond operating the platform. We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Costum platform are the exclusive property of Costum and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited license to use the Service.

We will endeavor to keep the Service available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, particularly during the beta phase. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the Service temporarily for maintenance, security, or development purposes, with or without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Costum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including loss of data or interruption of workflow.

During the beta phase, the Service is provided free of charge and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@costum.cloud. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently erased within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence.
